The New Britain Museum of American Art is the first American art museum in the nation. The museum was first housed in a home donated to the museum which is capped off by a beautiful tile roof. This roof was replaced by Ludowici tile with copper trim and downspouts being meticulously restored and replaced by metal artisans.
